Dr Shar Moody         B. Chiro Sci. M. Chiro. DACCP (Chiropractic Paediatrics)

 

Shar graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney. After establishing herself professionally in East Maitland and her hometown of Newcastle, she is focused on a long-term commitment to patient care in the area. Shar feels privileged to have found a profession she is passionate about and able to make a change in people's lives everyday.

As an experienced Chiropractor, she believes in holistic treatment using manual adjusting techniques, activator, exercise and rehabilitation to improve the quality and function of the body. All treatment methods are specifically modified to suit individual patient needs and goals.

 

She treats a wide range of spinal and extremity conditions and has a special interest in treating children. This is reflected in her commitment to additional learning and her completion of a Diploma in Chiropractic Paediatrics. Caring for kids is great!

 

Her lifestyle is strongly focused on keeping fit and healthy. Shar has always enjoyed participating in a variety of sports, specifically a strong background in basketball and netball. Not only is she fascinated by how Chiropractic influences a person's overall level of wellbeing, but also the influence over sports performance and prevention of injury.

 

Shar's main aim for Chiro Connection is to maintain high standards of patient care. This will ensure patients achieve their full health potential through natural Chiropractic care and understanding the importance of a balanced healthy lifestyle. Her motivation is driven everyday by treating patients in need of pain relief and through a series of appointments, achieving a true sense of wellbeing. 

 

The focus of her relationship with a patient is for them to understand and experience the vital relationship between their spine, their nervous system and their total health and wellness.
